Sonora, CA — There are two vehicle accidents to be aware of in the Mother Lode this afternoon.
An ambulance is responding to a motorcycle accident on Creekside Drive in Tuolumne County. It is near the Crestview Drive intersection. Major injuries have been reported, so expect activity in the area.
Also a pickup truck has driven off Highway 26 in Calaveras County. It is near the Associated Office Road intersection. An ambulance has also been requested for that accident.
Update: Police are looking for the driver of the motorcycle man who wrecked his motorcycle above. It happened near the Phoenix Lake area.
Police say witnesses saw the driver fall off the bike, hit his head on the concrete and then jump back on the bike and flee the scene.
Police want to find the man in case he is seriously injured and to get more details of the crash.
If you have any information call the Sonora CHP.
