Speed Creates Crash On Highway 26

Calaveras County, CA — Passing in a no passing zone attributes to a rollover on Highway 26 in Calaveras County.

It happened near the Associated Office Road intersection on Tuesday afternoon.

CHP Officials say 30 year old, Dustin Johnson, of Pioneer, was going 70 miles per hour in his pickup truck when he came upon a car going 40. To avoid rear ending that car, Johnson crossed the double yellow line on a curve and lost control of the truck. It hit a tree and flipped over smashing into another tree.

Johnson received minor injuries.
