Sonora, CA — Tuolumne County’s Clerk Office for the Superior Court will soon close an hour earlier to save money.
On July 30th the office will shut down its public filing windows and telephones at 3pm, Monday thru Friday. You will still be able to file documents until 5pm via a drop box for same day delivery.
The state slashed $623,744 dollars from the Tuolumne Superior Court’s budget this fiscal year. Court officials say another 15% may be cut for 2013.
The public may provide written comments on the earlier closing no later than July 23, 2012 via mail or email concerns to Joyce@tuolumne.courts.ca.gov.
