Make Sure Your Vote Is In On Time

Sonora, CA — Almost 70 percent of the ballots in Tuolumne County are vote by mail. 36 percent of those have already been turned in to the clerk’s office.

Tuolumne County’s Clerk and Auditor/Controller, Debi Russell, says you have plenty of time to get your ballots counted before the Tuesday, Primary Election. To help out her office is open Saturday, June 2nd, from 9 to 1 for voters to drop off their ballots.

Voters can also drop them off at polling areas, but Russell says they won’t be included in the numbers given to the media on election night. However, She stresses all ballots will be counted for the official election results.

If you are dropping off or mailing in your ballot it must be in by 8pm on Tuesday, if not your vote will not count.
