The Tuolumne Lumber Jubilee begins Thursday in Tuolumne City at 5pm.
George Lazlo, Lumber Jubilee Board Member, was Wednesday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.
A carnival will get underway at 5pm with live music beginning at 7pm tomorrow night.
The Tuolumne Lumber Jubilee Queen Coronation takes place Friday night starting at 6pm.
Saturday’s events will feature the annual parade at 10 a.m., along with arm wrestling contests, hot dog eating contest, live music and a Sunday morning soap box derby.
Sunday will feature a professional logging show, adult tug-o-war and even an interdenominational church service.
There will be plenty of craft booths and food booths available at the Park, all four days of the event.
The Tuolumne Lumber Jubillee originally began as a way to celebrate the re-opening of the mill after the Great Depression.
