Construction May Slow Your Commute In Tuolumne County

Sonora, CA — There will be one-way controlled traffic on Highway 49 from Highway 108 to Washington Street.

Caltrans says you can expect up to 20 minute delays as crews will be paving the roadway from 8am to 5pm. The work starts Sunday, June 24 and runs through Friday, June 29th.
The northbound connector ramp for junction 49 and 108, near Sonora, will be close during these times.


Also, Draper Mine Road to East Avenue on Highway 108 will be one-way traffic for paving all week. Crews will work from 7am to 5pm. Motorist can expect 15 minute delays.


Caltrans is asking motorist to take alternate routes if possible.
