Sonora, CA — Parrotts Ferry Road is back open after a road worker was hit by a vehicle.
The CHP reports that the worker directing traffic was struck at around 7:30 this morning.
The unidentified person was taken to a nearby hospital to treat injuries. Initial reports from the scene are that the worker may have suffered a broken ankle. No further information is immediately available.
