Sonora, CA — What is being referred to as a “Revolution Rally” will be held Wednesday night at Courthouse Park in Sonora.
One of the main organizers is Tuolumne County Supervisor Evan Royce, who says the event is designed to celebrate the Declaration of Independence. Royce says one of the demographics he is trying to attract at the rally is the “younger generation.”
“We want to inspire young people to show up and start taking responsibility for our future,” says Royce. “We feel that the future of our country is at stake, and everyday our liberties are being eroded, and our national debt is piling up.”
Royce says he is encouraging the public to attend. It will begin at 5pm on the Fourth of July at Courthouse Park.
Royce says scheduled dignitaries planning to be on hand include Republican Assembly candidate Rico Oller, Supervisor Randy Hanvelt and Sheriff Jim Mele.
