More East Sonora Bypass Blasting

Sonora, CA — There will be more blasting on Friday, July 20, by Caltrans crews. The blasting will be near the construction site for the State Route 108 East Sonora Bypass Phase II Project.
Blasting is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m. and Caltrans anticipates being done around 5:00 p.m. According to Department of Transportation, District 10 Public Information Officer, Angela DaPrato, “Roads will not be closed for blasting and traffic should not be impacted.”

Blasting also occured on June 19th, July 5th, and July 11th.

The $53 million Caltrans phase II Highway 108 Bypass project began in April.
