Sonora, CA — The 2012 London Olympics start in less than three days and myMotherLode has featured Olympic news coverage in the Sports section.
The London Olympic Opening Ceremony will be held Friday, July 27.
In the Sports section there are now Olympic videos, photos, and news articles. After the games start there will be a updated Olympic medal count as well.
The Associated Press reports that NBC is promising that every competition in London will be available to U.S. consumers live, with the bulk of them seen online.
The centerpiece of coverage will be NBC’s prime-time, 8 p.m. to midnight on most evenings, with Bob Costas as host. Given the time difference with England, all of the events will be shown on a tape-delayed basis. Fans will have the opportunity to see each of the events online during the day.
