New Priest Grade Accident

Motorists are experiencing delays on New Priest Grade this morning.

The CHP is reporting that a motor home type vehicle has collided with another vehicle near the top of the grade, and it is slowing traffic.

Air resources from CAL FIRE were initially dispatched because of a report that it may have sparked a fire, but it was a false alarm. A tow truck has arrived on scene to remove one of the vehicles, so traffic could be moving freely within a short period.
