More Triple Digit Heat And Sierra Thunderstorms

According to the National Weather Service, hot temperatures will continue in the Mother Lode for the rest of the work week.

Isolated thunderstorms are also possible in the Sierra Nevada for the rest of the week, during the afternoon and evening hours.

People enjoying the outdoors at the higher elevations including backpackers, campers and boaters should be alert for the possibility of thunderstorms and seek shelter if threatening weather approaches.
