Sonora, CA — Ed Wyllie, Executive Director Sonora Area Foundation, details five community programs that have received over $6 million since 1990 though the competitive grant program.
Wyllie’s blog provides an update that highlights the five projects. The Foundation, in conjunction with it’s supporting organizations; The Symons Family Fund and the Irving J. Symons Foundation periodically award grants to worthy projects in Tuolumne.
The five projects highlighted are: the dental program Smile Keepers, the “BOB” the Health Van, Tuolumne Veteran’s History Project, the nearly complete Sonora Sunrise Rotary Community Park Project and for fifteen years the foundation has provided grants to Sonora and Summerville High School Sober Graduation.
