Sonora, CA — After much debate, the Tuolumne County Supervisors are poised to pass the final budget this morning.
A public hearing is scheduled for nine o’clock during today’s Supervisors meeting. You can listen live in the multimedia section of myMotherLode.com. The plan calls for the county to restore many positions that were initially on the chopping block. The Supervisors are also planning to approve a settlement agreement related to Cooperstown Quarry project, which has been held up by litigation. Lawsuits have been filed by the City of Riverbank and environmental groups.
