Angels Camp, CA – The Angles Camp Physical Therapy Clinic is now open. The Sonora Regional Medical Center is expanding its rehabilitation services to Calaveras County residents.
Physical Therapist Alan Grant says “For some people it was prohibitive. The time and expense of driving outside the area just meant that they either did without or perhaps did less than what was optimal for them, so this is going to be a really good change for them.” Grant adds “Now anybody will be able to get services in the Angles Camp area including those with Medical, Medicare and private insurances.” Grant says they have a wide range of equipment including stair climbers and stationary bikes as well as devices to aid in therapy treatment plans.
Medical Center Officials say Grant brings nearly 30 years of professional experience to the new rehabilitation clinic. They say he will provide one-on-one physical therapy sessions, allowing him to assess each patient’s progress and continually adjust their treatment plans to help them meet their goals.
Medical Center Officials say Grant received his degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University and has participated in hundreds of hours of continuing education. They say he has provided physical therapy treatment for patients in home health, outpatient clinics, and transitional care. They say he also worked in private practice in Angels Camp for several years and has worked for Sonora Regional Medical Center since 1997.
Angels Camp Physical Therapy at 467 South Main Street is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
