Jupiter, CA – Burglars try to fool Tuolumne County Sheriff’s deputies by dumping their stash. Sheriff’s deputies were alerted to the burglary in progress at a residence in the Jupiter area on Monday around 6:30pm by a caller. They say he reported three males driving two pick-up trucks, one loaded with stolen property, had just left after he confronted them.
Deputies responding from South Fork Road, passed the trucks going the other way and stopped them, but neither truck had stolen property in it.
Sheriff’s Officials say a search of the roadway led to the property being found where the suspects dumped it and all three males were arrested. The suspects are 46 year old Randell Rombout and 34 year old Casey Cabano, both of Ceres, and 61 year old Gary Miller of Modesto.
Sheriff’s Officials estimate the stolen loot to be valued around $5000.00. It includes a motorcycle, generator, stucco pump and a wood chipper.
