CVIN Infrastructure Installation

Sonora, CA – Motorists can expect 5-10 minute delays this week in areas of Tuolumne County, as installation continues on the CVIN broadband project.

The 18-county internet infrastructure project is designed to increase broadband speeds in rural areas, and was funded by the 2010 Federal Stimulus Package. Workers are staged this week on Parrotts Ferry Road, from Green Street to the Parrotts Ferry Bridge. In addition they will be on O’Byrnes Ferry Road, from Highway 108 to the O’Byrnes Ferry Road Bridge.

Travel with caution in those areas.
