Copperopolis, CA — A Copperopolis man had only minor injuries after a trailer collided head-on with his car.
The CHP reports that the accident happened over the weekend along Highway 4 near Little John Creek. 64-year-old Rodney Hillman of Milpitas was pulling the trailer behind his truck and it became detached. The trailer then slammed into the 1994 Buick Century driven by 57-year-old Michael Slattery of Copperopolis.
Slattery was taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center to treat the reported minor injuries. Hillman was not injured. The CHP reports that both vehicles were going about 55 mph.
