Sonora, CA — There’s finally some relief at the pump, after reaching record highs just three weeks ago.
AAA reports that the average price for regular unleaded gasoline in California is $4.16. Regular unleaded is selling under four dollars at many stations in the region, according to the myMotherLode.com gas price section. In Sonora, the price ranges from $3.83-$4.25, and in San Andreas the price goes from $3.97 to $4.05.
Three weeks ago regular unleaded was selling at 4.67 statewide, which was an all-time high for California according to AAA. Many analysts say the state’s decision to allow winter-blend style gas earlier than normal this year has helped to drop the prices.
