Sonora, CA — Starting tomorrow, November 13, Caltrans will continue work on the Highway 108 East Sonora Bypass Phase II Project that will close one lane at a time.
Caltrans says they will perform intermittent one-way traffic control from Cavalieri Road to Jenness Road for highway construction. The road work will continue through Friday, November 16, and is planned to take place between the hours of 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 30 minute delays. A signed detour is in place and alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.
The East Sonora bypass is scheduled to open in the summer of 2014. Further information is in the story Bypass Ahead Of Schedule.
