Senior Living Community Expands

Sonora, CA — A Sonora senior living community is expanding its offerings.

Skyline Place on Sylva Lane held a ribbon cutting Thursday evening for its new Independent Living wing. It is designed for seniors that aren’t quite ready for assisted living. The Independent Living wing features 10 apartments, which have 1-2 bedrooms.

Members of the Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce were on hand for the celebration. Sonora Mayor Bill Canning helped Skyline Place Executive Director Ole Lindbo cut the ribbon.
