Sonora, CA — T.U.D. will continue to flush water distribution lines Friday in downtown Sonora.
Workers will be along sections of South Washington, Snell, Arbona Circle, Alpine Lane and Bonanza Road.
Flushing will take place between the hours of 8am to 3pm, and customers should not be alarmed by fluctuations in the water pressure. The reason for the flushing is to clear out any sediment or minerals that may accumulate in pipes on an annual basis.
Each week maintenance crews will flush a specific area in the county. Daily updates of the flushing schedule can be found at the Tuolumne Utilities District website at www.tudwater.com
