San Andreas, CA– Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital was recently presented the Blue Ribbon Award from the Western Fairs Association in recognition and appreciation of their support to the Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee.
According to Marketing Director Laurie Giannini, the Western Fairs Association recognizes businesses and organizations that contribute to the success of their local Fairs and the fair industry as a whole.
“Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital was first recognized for their contribution to the Fair in 1996,” said Giannini. “The First Aid booth operated and maintained by the hospital is a beacon of excellence and an example of government and private industry partnerships that benefit the community globally.”
For decades the hospital has provided 24-hour coverage of first aid services during the Fair in May.
