State Of The State Address Monday

Sacramento, CA– Next week Governor Jerry Brown will deliver his State of the State address before a joint session of the California legislature.


Brown is expected to lobby for his budget plan, including his bid to extend temporary tax increases. California faces a $25.4 billion deficit through June 2012. The governor has proposed $12.5 billion in spending cuts and borrowing, plus extending a series of temporary taxes in a June special election.


Governor Brown’s State of the State address will air live this Monday at 5:00 pm on AM 1450 KVML.
