Beilstein Lands Additional Television Show

Tammy Beilstein, one of the most recognized faces in Calaveras County, will soon be hosting an additional TV show.

Beilstein was Friday morning´s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.

Beilstein has been the host of “What´s She Up To Now?”, a half hour show on Calaveras Public Access for over the past three years.

The show showcases places and events throughout the Motherlode with a special emphasis on Calaveras County. The weekly show airs seven days a week on Public Access Televison in Calaveras.

Additionally, Beilstein will soon begin a new show entitled “Tammy’s Window On Calaveras”.

Unlike “What’s She Up To Now?”, this will be an in-studio show, featuring discussions with select people of Calaveras.

Kathy Mazzafarro has been the host of this popular show, known as “Kathy’s Window on Calaveras” for the past eight years. Mazzafarro will soon be leaving Calaveras entirely so a new host was needed.

“Tammy’s Window on Calaveras” will also be shown seven days a week.

During her spare time, Beilstein works and volunteers for the Hospice Thrift Stores of Amador and Calaveras Counties

The thrift store in Angels Camp is located at 570 N Main Street, the old Perko’s restaurant.

Hospice serves the terminally ill and their families, with in-home nursing and support care as well as to help the caregiver with the patient. The stores provide the gap funding that is needed so that no qualified patient is turned away.

A Valentines Day Raffle featuring a grand prize of a four day/three night all expenses trip for four to Cabo San Lucas, will take place on Valentines Day. Tickets are available now.

For more  information, call (209) 223-5500.

The “Newsmaker of the Day” is heard each weekday morning at 6:47, 7:47 and 8:47 on AM-1450 KVML.
