Pair Arrested Pushing Strollers

Angels Camp, CA — Two women pushing young children in strollers were arrested by the Angels Camp Police Department.

The two were stopped by an officer for not having appropriate clothing on the children for the cooler conditions, as it was around 7:30pm. One child is a year old and the other child is two years old. After questioning the two women, identified as 22-year-old Kayla Ann Beller of Angels Camp and 19-year-old Kayla Marie Moreland of San Andreas, the officer found that both were under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant.

Moreland was also found to be in possession of 0.5 gram of methamphetamine. She and Beller were arrested and booked into county jail. The two-year-old child was released into the custody of his father, and the one year old was placed in Child Protective Services.
