Sonora, CA– The Diagnostic Imaging Department at Sonora Regional Medical Center has installed a new X-Ray machine at the Medical Center’s Indian Rock Prompt Care.
The new equipment produces digital images that are linked to the Medical Center’s Picture Archive and Communication System. It also allows physicians to read images and diagnose patients more quickly.
Removal of the old equipment and installation of the new X-ray machine took a few months. During that time x-ray services were not available at Indian Rock Prompt Care.
“We are pleased to have the new machine to provide high-quality outpatient X-ray services at Indian Rock once again,” said Jerry Kurtz, director of Diagnostic Imaging.
Indian Rock Prompt Care is located at 14540 Mono Way. X-Ray services are available seven days a week from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
