San Andreas, CA– With rain and snow forecasted in the Mother Lode this week, the CHP is reminding motorists to be extra careful on the roadways.
“We haven’t seen a storm in over a month, so we just want to remind people to slow down and take your time getting where you’re going,” said Officer Rebecca Myers from the San Andreas CHP. “If you are heading up to the snow, please carry chains and make sure you have blankets, food, water and your cell phone.”
Myers adds that with the three day weekend coming up, more motorists will be visiting the area and to be aware of an increase in traffic.
