Infrastructure Projects On Agenda

Sonora, CA — The Sonora City Council will hear an update on a couple of infrastructure improvement projects tonight.

One is the widening of Mono Way to five lanes between Greenley Road and Fir Drive. If everything stays on schedule, the project could begin in late 2012. The Council will also hear about improvements being made to the Sonora Police Department building. The office will receive new siding, fresh exterior paint, new rain gutters, and an updated entrance door.

Also at tonight’s meeting, EDA Director Larry Cope will give a recap of economic happenings over the past year. The meeting begins at 5pm at Sonora City Hall.
