Future Of Firefighting

Sonora, CA — Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors Chair Liz Bass weighs in about the future of firefighting in the county.

It is the focus of her new myMotherLode.com blog entry entitled, “Sharing the Service.” The county is investigating the possibility of creating a new “Tuolumne County Fire Authority.” The Supervisors recently took part in a joint meeting with all area fire districts, community service districts and the City of Sonora to discuss the matter.
