Power Outages Mostly In Calaveras County

Sonora, CA– Another round of winter snow and rain has left over 2,000 PG&E customers without power in the Mother Lode this afternoon.


According to PG&E Spokesperson Nicole Liebelt, there are around 2,000 customers in Calaveras County currently without electricity mainly in the West Point area with 1,100. There are 470 customers without power in Railroad Flat, 315 in Wilseyville and 45 in Arnold.


Tuolumne County has only 30 customers without power in Mi-Wuk Village and a there are 5 residents without electricity in Twain Harte.


Because the outages are widespread, there are no estimated restoration times. To report an outage or to receive information on a specific neighborhood, call 1-800-PGE-5000.
