A weak storm system will bring rain to the Motherlode and snow to the Sierra Nevada, tonight and tomorrow.
Snow levels will generally range from 4500 through 6000 feet.
Four to six inches of new snow is expected at 7000 feet. Six to eight inches of snow is likely at the higher elevations.
Winds in the mountains will be from ten to twenty mph with gusts up to forty-five mph.
