Jamestown, CA — The Tuolumne County Planning Commission will vote on a proposal to move an existing building from the Sonora Elementary Campus to Sierra Waldorf School.
“Sierra Waldorf School is acquiring a building that was used for the Head Start program at the Sonora Elementary School campus, and they are going to relocate it to their campus on Rawhide Road,” says Mike Laird, Deputy Tuolumne County Community Development Director. “They want to expand the educational facilities for their students.”
The Planning Commission will vote whether to issue a Conditional Use Permit for the 1,440 square ft. commercial coach, which includes a classroom, kitchen area, two restrooms and an office/workroom. Sierra Waldorf is a private school located at 19234 Rawhide Road. The Planning Commission will meet at 7pm on April 6th at the County Administration Center.
