Arnold, CA– Two Calaveras County residents were arrested for burglary last week in Arnold. According to the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office, at around 7 am, April 14th, Deputy Newnam responded to 1999 Patricia Lane in Arnold for a residential alarm.
Upon the Deputy’s arrival, he discovered a garage that had been broken into and several items taken. Deputy Newnam spoke with the homeowner, whom lives out of the area, and obtained pictures of the suspects and their vehicle. The homeowner had an alarm system and a motion activated surveillance camera, which captured the burglary.
The next day while on patrol through the Murphys area, Deputy Newnam spotted the suspects and vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted and 48-year-old Donald Fallin Jr. and Jennifer Marie Allen were identified. When shown pictures of themselves and their vehicle at the scene of the burglary, they were taken into custody.
Some of the stolen property was recovered from the vehicle and the rest of the stolen property was recovered from a Douglas Flat residence.
