Suspect In Custody Following Standoff

Jamestown, CA– A Modesto man is in custody following a brief Friday night standoff in Jamestown.


Sgt. Jeff Wilson of the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office says that Sheriff’s Deputies and CHP Officers assisted Stanislaus County District Attorney Investigators and FBI agents in the apprehension of 33-year-old Clinton Wilson.


The arrest was made at 6:30 pm at a motel room at Rosalinda’s where the suspect had been staying.


Clinton Wilson was wanted for questioning in a homicide case in Stanislaus County. He is suspected of killing a man in Modesto who died in a burning home on May 4th.
