Sonora, CA– The internationally-acclaimed Harlem Ambassadors will be visiting Tuolumne County for a unique game of basketball at Columbia College.
Featuring high-flying slam dunks, dazzling ball handling tricks and comedy routines, the fundraising event will be Thursday, May 19th at the Oak Pavilion at 6:00 pm.
The Ambassadors set themselves apart from other “Harlem-style” basketball teams by working with local non-profit and service organizations and holding Harlem Ambassadors shows as community fundraising events.
For Tuolumne County’s event, the Ambassadors have partnered with The Amador-Tuolumne Community Action Agency (ATCAA) and the Yes Partnership to help raise funds for youth programs.
The Ambassadors have worked extensively with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Boys & Girls Clubs, Big Brothers,Big Sisters, the American Red Cross as well as Rotary, Lions and Kiwanis clubs in communities throughout the U.S.
Tickets are available at ATCAA, 427 Highway 49, Suite 305 in Sonora or may be purchased at the door.
