Copperopolis, CA — A tractor mowing grass ignited a small fire in Copperopolis.
It burned approximately a quarter acre of grass and was quickly put out Thursday afternoon. Locals on scene were able to extinguish a majority of the fire before fire officials arrived.
Copperopolis Fire sent two engines and Cal Fire sent one engine. The fire was reported at around 1:15pm. It was located in the 2400 block of Oak Creek.
