Pinecrest, CA — Dodge Ridge is installing a new ski lift this offseason which will allow access to more of the mountain and the back country.
Installation of a Deppelmayr T-Bar surface lift (T-463) will double the length of three expert ski runs located above Granite Bowl by allowing access to the mountain’s Second Summit. Construction on the half a million dollar project has already started and it should be completed by the start of the 2011/12 ski season.
“We’re excited to move forward in our development plan,” says Sally Helm, Dodge Ridge President and CEO. “This is an important step for what’s to come in the next few years.” Dodge Ridge also plans to replace Chairlift 1 in the near future and make additional improvements.
Dodge Ridge Celebrated its 60th Anniversary last season.
