Sonora, CA — A man was arrested in Sonora on charges of robbery and assault.
The Sonora Police Department reports Israel Renteria Jr. allegedly slashed the tires on his ex-girlfriends vehicle with a knife, forcibly removed her cell phone from her hands, and also forcibly stole property from her residence.
Renteria later surrendered himself to a parole agent, and he was booked into Tuolumne County Jail. The incident happened on Livingston Street in Sonora.
