Old Wards Ferry Closure

Sonora, CA — Old Wards Ferry Road will be closed to traffic later this month and continuing through October.

Crews will be installing the infrastructure for the Law and Justice Center project. The Tuolumne County Public Works Department reports that the closure will be from the north edge of the overpass of Highway 108 to a point approximately 3000 ft. south of the overpass. During the closure period, traffic needing to access Old Wards Ferry Road should take the suggested detour from the light at Washington Street/Highway 108 to Lime Kiln Road, to Jacobs Road connecting with Old Wards Ferry Road.

Construction will run from July 20th until mid-October.
