Highway 108 Remains Closed

Sonora, CA – The CHP reports that a big rig truck and Ford F250 collided this morning near the Highway 108/Washington Street intersection.

Minor injuries were reported to one of the drivers. CHP Officer Brad Schultz estimates that 50-100 gallons of diesel fuel spilled onto the roadway. Highway 108 is expected to remain closed for the next couple of hours. The CHP has blocked off Highway 108 at the turnoffs to Stockton Road and Mono Way. Traffic has been slow through downtown Sonora.
