Columbia, CA — Construction is wrapping up on the $22 million Science and Natural Resources Building at Columbia College.
Funding for the Sugar Pine Building came from voter approved Measure E Bonds. “Some of the strongest employment opportunities in our region are in science and related health occupations,” says Dr. Dennis Gervin, Columbia College President. “This facility will help Columbia College better serve students in those areas.”
The Sugar Pine Building is one of the largest on campus. The two story structure has 21,000 sq. ft. of interior space, and is 33,600 sq. ft. when taking into account the exterior covered areas.
The public is invited to attend a celebration ribbon cutting ceremony on August 25th at 11am.
