Highway 49 Remains Closed

Tuttletown, CA — Highway 49 is still closed near the Rawhide Road intersection because of a fire.

A residence and 4-5 outbuildings have been destroyed. It has spread to around 10 acres. Highway 49 is closed down due to the amount of fire trucks on scene. The Sheriff’s Office reports that it could be a couple of hours before Highway 49 reopens. For a map of the area click here.
