Pinecrest, CA– A 38-year-old Bay area man died from an apparent drowning at Pinecrest Lake yesterday.
Sgt. Jeff Wilson from the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office says Yue Peng from Albany was with family members on Monday morning when he decided to take a swim.
At around 9:24 am, an ambulance was called to revive Peng who had been rescued from the water.
No further details have been released. Sgt. Wilson says autopsy and toxicology results are pending.
