Mountain Ranch, CA — Crews hope to have full containment of the Freccero Road Fire in Mountain Ranch by 1pm today.
The 57 acre fire started Wednesday afternoon and has burned oak woodland, brush and grass. Nearly a dozen homes were initially considered in danger, but the structures were all saved. CAL Fire has sent resources from as far away as Santa Clara and El Dorado Counties to assist. As of this morning, the fire is listed as 95 percent contained.
