Sonora, CA — There was another motorcycle accident in Tuolumne County last night.
The CHP reports that Trevor Parker of Jamestown was riding on Mono Way and lost control of his bike near Hess Avenue. What led to the accident is not immediately known. Parker, 25, was taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center to treat moderate injuries.
The accident happened at 6:45pm, and it slowed traffic on Mono Way for a short period. The CHP reports that around 20 motorcycle accidents have been reported in Tuolumne County just this month, which is a notably high number.
23-year-old Jordan Reyes was killed in a motorcycle accident on September 15 along Highway 108 near Twain Harte Drive. A crash three days later in the La Grange area took the life of 56-year-old Steven Vella.
