Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Community Resources Agency was created last month with a 3-2 vote by the Board of Supervisors.
Director Bev Shane will talk about the agency on this weekend’s Mother Lode Views. The CRA was created to save the county $300,000, and puts the former Community Development Department and Public Works Department under a single department head. Shane will talk about how the agency is set up, and whether residents should expect a dropoff in services.
Shane will also talk about whether the number of building permits issued by the county is still declining due to the slow economy, or starting to turn around.
