San Andreas, CA– Two people were injured in a vehicle accident in San Andreas yesterday.
The CHP reports that at around 6:05 am, 35-year old Jeremy Miller of Pollack Pines was stopped at a stop sign on Highway 49 at Highway 12 waiting to turn left.
Sheila Arbour, 61, of Sheepranch, was driving her vehicle north of Highway 49 and continued straight at the intersection to join westbound Highway12.
Miller reportedly looked left and did not see any unsafe traffic. He drove towards the intersection and saw that Arbour was closer than he had anticipated. Although Arbour tried to avoid a collison by swerving to the right, she impacted the left rear side of Miller’s car.
Both parties were transported to Mark Twain St. Joseph’s hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
