Sonora, CA — It is becoming more affordable to fill the car up with gas.
The Lundberg Survey of fuel prices released yesterday put the price of a gallon of regular unleaded at $3.42 nationwide, down 13 cents from two weeks ago and down 25 cents in the past month.
Of the cities surveyed, San Francisco had the highest average price at $3.81. The myMotherLode.com gas price section shows the price of regular unleaded varies across the Mother Lode this morning. It is everywhere from 3.67 to 3.89.
