Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne Utilities District is asking customers to conserve water this week.
The PG&E Main Canal that provides T.U.D.’s primary water supply is shut down for regular maintenance. Without water coming in from the ditches, the only water available is what remains in the storage tanks and wells.
T.U.D. is urging customers to limit outside watering, turnoff automatic lawn sprinklers and repair water leaks.
The ditch maintenance will run through Monday, October 17.
